Ruth Clarke  is a translator working from Spanish, French and Italian into English. She has a degree in Modern European Languages from the University of Durham and an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Sheffield. Ruth has translated work by authors from Mexico to Benin and has a particular passion for short stories. She shares SFP’s enthusiasm for championing the translation, publication and promotion of the finest contemporary Peruvian and Hispanic literature. She is currently based in London.
