María Lema is a freelance translator, interpreter and subtitler. She has her own translation business, loves to write and has moved recently to Spain after having spent six years between Edinburgh and London. She received her BA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Wales in Spanish, English and German; and her postgraduate degree in Public Service Interpreting from the Univeristy of La Laguna. Also, a MSc in Translation and Conference Interpreting from Heriot-Watt University. She loves Latin-American literature.
